I was contracted by YHA (Youth Hostels Assoc.) to direct, film, edit, and produce these series of videos. The brief was to highlight each hostel / destination and showcase why its unique, what there is to do and see and why travellers should stay there. I organised all the travellers to partake in the videos and was the driver / tour guide during each filming trip. I sourced original music for each video and dealt with the artists directly to obtain permission to use it. I also dealt directly with some of the tour operators to plan and partake in activities they offer, whilst we shot on location.
Working for South Australia Tourism and Geocentric Outdoors I travelled to the Flinders Ranges to film, edit and output news feeds for national distribution. Working to tight deadlines, travelling long distances , mapping and planning to follow the races competitiors and 4wding in rough isolated terrain. Having limited access to output newsfeeds to meet tight deadlines was challenging. I edited this package for the fan and sponsors to thank them for inviting me to work on the race.
In 2013, I was engaged by the Port Augusta Council to create 2 videos:
- A pioneer project delivered by the council to involve indigenous community in having their voices heard on a local, state and federal level.
- To tell the story their arid city smart solutions for a better future within their community.

Working with the RYSS (Regional Youth Support Services) we produced and directed this short documentary, which I filmed and edited. The brief was to raise awareness about youth and violence , a major issue affecting many families and individuals with the community of ‘2261’. The brief was to tell the story from a youth’s perspective. I hit the streets and talked to youths who had either directly experienced domestic violence or knew someone who had been affected by it.
